meet jorge
Jorge grew up hearing stories about his dancing outbursts at groceries stores and any public place with music. His mom knew he would somehow find his way to a dance career. At the age of fifteen; hard work, resilience, and dedication landed him a scholarship at a small dance studio in Houston. He went on to pursue a professional dance career, performing all over the world in places such as Austria, Hawaii, Nashville and Washington, DC. As a former professional dancer, choreographer, and man of the people, Jorge knew that event spaces were where he belonged, but where exactly he wasn't sure. It all started when a friend asked him to choreograph their first dance. It started with one couple; and before he could blink twice, he was helping other couples make their first dance a special moment on their special day. Soon after, he knew that he was going to be able to make what once was just a favor for a friend into a passion project turned business venture. Yours Truly Dance was born, giving him the opportunity to help others on their special day.
Jorge was a fantastic teacher and choreographer! We went in thinking we would just take a few lessons on some basics but we were so impressed with his choreography we decided to have him do a full dance for us and we loved it. He also was very accommodating to our abilities with the choreography and actively changed things through our sessions to make us more comfortable, but he still pushed us to learn new moves to the point where we could nail them. Jorge is also an awesome person and just fun to be around. Our first dance at our wedding got a ton of compliments, and it will now always be a highlight and a special memory. Thanks Jorge!

We cannot recommend Yours Truly Dance enough! Our first dance was one of our absolute favorite moments at our wedding and that’s all thanks to Jorge. We had a song picked out but had no idea how to create a seamless dance routine. Jorge met with us to get an idea of the vibe of our wedding as well as our chemistry on the dance floor. He created a storyline for our dance, choreographed, and took on the challenge of teaching my husband and me to dance. We could not be more thrilled with the results!
